Light Flow, DPO 9

Gang,
Anyone have a light flow DPO 7 or 8 (some spotting and light flow over the course of 8 days) and not be pregnant? Took a test and it was negative (it was 2 weeks after ovulation so I am thinking certainly long enough to show up).  I guess I could mark it to a light period for some reason, but I am worried that it came so early.
Any thoughts?

I would just go straight to bloodwork.  If AF is late and HPT is negative perhaps your HPT brand is not sensitive enough?  False negatives are not uncommon.  Good luck, let us know!!!

Thanks for the info. Well, the spotting and bleeding stopped..but after 9 days and now it is past the start of my period normally. Not sure what is going on...

I also had some spotting around cd's 13 14 15. AF showed up early on cd 24. I usually have a 28 day cycle, so it could be a light AF.
