It has worked for me.  I got pregnant on my first cycle this time around.  I've tried clomid in the past, but nothing happened.  I also was at a very different point in my life-too stressed out and too unprepared, so no surprise it didn't work before.

Yes, it gives me hot flashes, sore boobs and increased sex drive- now that was the icing on the baby making cake.  I didn't experience the bad mood swings or anger.  It works best for me at 100mg.  I usually make three mature eggs and the uterine lining is always perfect by ovulation time.  I don't use anything else.  I miscarried, as you may already know at 11 weeks.  However, very possibly it has nothing to do with the egg/embryo itself but my own immune system.

Good luck my friend.  I will be on clomid again sometime in the summer time.  I just had a D&C and I'm waiting for "all systems to be a go" before trying again.

I had 5 miscarriages, prior to having Gavin.  I finally went to an RE and he put me on Clomid and I got pregnant the first cycle.  I didn't notice any side effects.

Good luck to you and don't give up on your dream.

Clomid worked for me ( 50mg on alternate cycles) I was pg on the 2nd cycle with Clomid.
Side effects  headaches, hot flashes, mood swings (tell your DH to stay away from you;)
sore bbs etc. But I think it's still worth it cos it worked.
Did nothing to my sex drive though.

Make sure to either use OPKs or BBTs to track down your ovulation.

Good luck!!!

Good luck!!
