Breast Question.....Growth during PG

Hello Girls,

I recently had a hpt+ and among the many things my mind is swirling about right now is how much do the bbs grow during pregnancy

I'm already large chested 38ddd, and I'm a little worried about how big they will get and my options for bras, tops etc....I'm planning *hahhahaha* on gaining the maximum weight allowed if you're "obese/overweight" so that's like 15 pounds....best laid plans as I haven't had any cravings yet to fight.

Can anyone who's a similar size and had a "normal" weight gain give me an idea on how large they're likely to get?

Thanks in advance,
Joanne

Thanks Gals,
It'll be interesting for sure!
Hopefully they don't grow much til after the birth, my Sister's pregnancy / birth story kinda horrifies me so...... I'm hoping my pregnancy / birth goes differently.

Although actually her pregnancy didn't go that badly, she had no morning sickness, she did have major breast soreness  and sadly her breasts got MASSIVE but she also gained a lot of weight 60lbs..... the birth was a nightmare, he was 12lbs 10oz and 30 inches, she had to be induced twice and he wasn't coming out, no way, no how so cesarean.

It's hard to say.  I'm also not overweight, and without being pregnant I am a 36C.  But, with my first pregnancy, my breasts hardly changed. Near the end, and after I gave birth they were much bigger, because of milk production. This pregnancy, currently 15wks 4days, they are like cantelopes, big cantelopes!! As a matter of fact, I need to purchase new bras this weekend.  I buy most of my bras from Motherhood.  I like the ones that are like a sports bra, very comfy...and they accomodate all shapes and sizes...The extra weight you gain may not all go to your breasts, but may be evenly distributed to other parts of your body...and if they do get bigger, there are lots of options for clothes in plus or xplus sizes, or even men's shirts.  Enjoy your pregnancy!!

Congrats on the positive! With both of my previous children, I was a 38D, then a 38DD. With my daughter, I gained a total of 12 pounds, and my breasts didn't get much bigger until the milk came in. With my son, I gained a total of 4 pounds and, again, my breasts didn't grow much until after the birth. This time, I started out as a 40DD...now I'm probably a 44DD, but I have only gained one pound so far. My breasts have grown a LOT this time, and I'm just 16 weeks now. Soooo...needless to say, every pregnancy and every woman is different.
