baby Katelyn is FINALLY here!

well, after being 9 days overdue, she's finally here! woke up at 1:45 sunday morning to pee and my water broke! got to the hospital at 2:30 am, was only 1 cm and baby was still really high, had not dropped. a couple of hours later, at 3 cm, still not dropped. a couple more hours at 3 1/2 cm, they decided to do epidural. they had trouble with epidural because i kept tensing with severe contractions and he kept hitting bone. after 30 minutes of that, finally got it in there, dr came in and said i was ready to push! apparently baby dropped while i was sitting up getting epidural! by the time they got me prepped for delivery, i pushed about 6 times and there she was! felt every bit if the pain, epidural never had time to kick in! She was born at 9:54 am on sunday the 8th, 8 lbs 7 oz, 20 inches long, and we finally have her home. she's such a sweetie with a head full of hair! will post pics soon. still in pain from epesiotomy, and gonna rest a while! congrats to all the other new mommies that i missed while i was gone!
