Labor Due date question

Hi ladies,
do you know how to calculate labor due date? l've been told two different dates by a doctor, and by my OB/GYN. My regular doctor calculated September 30th, but my OB/GYN said September 24th. This is based on the fact that the first day of my last menstrual period was December 24th, 2014. I'm scheduled to be induced this Friday, but if my due date is September 30th, l want to cancel it and wait another week.
Please help me, ladies. l went to some websites, and they all calculate for September 30th, but l'm not sure, but my OB/GYN is confidence about the 24th.

Apauling yea it has always been like that I didn't know at first but the counting back three months is to make it 9 complete months pregnant...but counting 40weeks also works but is easier to add 7 days and go back 3 months..

Maybe you just ovulated early and your obgyn has an earlier date because calculated with the size of baby at the ultrasound and not using your last period date. My due date is 2 weeks later with the ultrasound than using my last period because i ovulated late. Maybe you just ovulated early.

I've never heard that- counting 7 days forward from your LMP and then back the months, but it does seem to work! Cool! I just always thought about counting 40 weeks from your LMP. I guess it works out the same way.

I kind of know a little bit about this it will be very long to explain but sept 24 is not since u had ur last mestrual period on November 24 your do date should have been sept the first i ain't a doctor but what I have been told is that u add seven days to the date of your last mestrual period for example yours was the 24th so it goes like this
24+(25,26,27,28,29,30,31) if November had a 31 day if not your due date should have been the first of Oct I hope this helps its very long to explain more but this is the very brief way to explain by adding 7 days to the date of your last period..I counted that way for my recent pregnancy just like they told me and it worked I only over pass 1 day I was due august the 22nd and she was born the 23rd..so if ur due date is the first based on what u said ur last period was wait another week...my first was 3 days late  so don't worry I can be sure the 24th was not your due date...due dates are most likely never the same date of your last mestrual period of course with a different t month not the same month comimg of the next year...I hope u understand what I am trying to say its confusing but that's how it works I hope this helps u some... Enjoy

There's no Sept 31st.

To get your estimated due date add one week from your last period and count back 3 months. So Dec 24th + 7 days = 31st. go back 3 months = September 31st would be your due date
