I paid $6000 cash up front, all the lab and office visits were paid by my insurance.  After the surgery I filed with my insurance company and i got about $2700 back.  When I checked with my insurance company prior to the surgery they said they wouldn't pay.  After the surgery I got the procedure codes from my dr. and file with the insurance company. If i can answer any more questions i will be happy to.  good luck

hi kim,
thank you for your respond it really kind of give me hope, which I'm still hoping it could
happen, so how much  did you pay up front, and how much did everything cost, like to
have an idea, we have health insurance but they don't cover tubal.

Most insurance will probably pay for the diagnostic testing that needs to be done; however, you've got a slim chance at getting any insurance to pay for it.  I want to say that maybe I've come across one insurance company that paid for tubal reversal.   But I believed they offered an infertility benefit.   It's really not that expensive when compared to IVF.  I'm not sure how old you are but if you're under 40, it might pose to be pretty effective if you can come up with them money.   Depending on where you live or have it done you could probably pay under $6K for everything.

I had a tubal reversal Jan. 08, If you have your medical rerport from when you had your tubal done, most doctors will look at it and see if you are a canidate for reversal. My insurance paid for all of my lab work but I had to pay for the surgery up front and then file it with my insurance and they reinbursed about 1/2 of the cost. If you have anymore questions I will be happy to help.
