You won't know your chances of conceiving until you try! But having 2 children, even older children, make you more likely to conceive than a woman who has never had children.

Chromosomal disorders: there is no prediction, it's like a Russian roulette, but odds are not that's bad to have a child without trisomy, but again you won't know until your try.

Sorry, I am not being very helpful! At this age its' recommended to try for 6 months before seeing a fertility doctor for a checkup and possibly some treatments.

Hi.I'm 45yrs and 23 weeks pregnant with baby no.4.
Conceived naturally but I did have  2 miscarriages last year and we have been trying for 6 yrs.
I have grown up children,25yrs,22yrs and 14yrs and 3 grand daughters,7yrs,4yrs and 8 month old.
My nucal scan was great,1.3mm measurement so DS risk was 1:85.
My risk went up to 1:60 for DS when my bloods where done soon after.
But my doctor said the risk number was mainly because of my age so recommend an anmio which I had and everything is fine and we are having a baby girl.
It is a worry when we get older but that wasn't going to stop us from trying to have a baby together.(DH is 47yrs and never had children so this one is very special)
All the very best and keep us posted.
