HCG Levels barely going up.

I went to the Dr. Tuesday as I had a positive pregnancy test. I was spotting with dark brown spots but like once a day. The Dr. did an ultrasound and saw the sac and everything but a banana shaped thing but she said it might be too early and did a blood test. (by my period she was saying I should be 6w 1d) the level came back at 544 and then Thursday did another blood test and it came back 629. She said per my levels I am measuring 5w. However she wants to see me again next tuesday and the nurse that called said to not jump to conclusions about a miscarraige. What is everyone experiences??? I am trying not to worry and hoping it is just really early...

Awe I hate hcg levels for this reason. Dont be worried and stop reading about it. I experienced a miscarriage 10 months ago and im not 12 weeks preggo. For the first 6 weeks my levels had me extremly stressed. When I first went in my levels doubled for the first 48 hours then slowed down to 72 hours to 96 hours which can also be normal. When I went for my first ultrasound it turned out I was measuring early and no baby could be found. So I went in 2 weeks later for another u/s even though my levels were rising slower they detected a baby with a strong heart beat. Now im 12 weeks and just saw the baby moving around :) hope this helps

I went through the same exact thing, they had me worried with those hcg numbers for a month or so had to test ever 48 hours and my numbers were going too slow. Yes it does makes you worry alot and I wish they never did it because I couldnt sleep or stop crying thinking I was gonna miscarry. I am now 10 weeks pregnant and everything looks great. seems they thought I was further along and I was less time.. so stay positive that I learned those numbers mean NOTHING!!! just stress in your life. Good luck!!

It is still very early so try to relax. Spotting at this stage is normal. I had bleeding (not spotting) at 6 weeks and everything turned out to be okay. The ER doctor told me at that time that it occurs often during the first weeks of pregnancy but surely should be checked. Just take it easy and let your body do the work.
Sometimes the numbers could be misleading so I would repeat the blood test in a few days again.
Let's hope for the best. Good luck!

Try to just relax coz stress is not good for pregnancy. As long as the numbers are going up...
