I missed this. Sorry! Huge congrats to you! Such great news and I am very very excited for you. I think it's great that you chose to do this and I think many that believe they are too old to further their education will be inspired by you (not that your old..lol). Congrats again and I wish you continued success!
i definatly know the feeling of working fill time and school i am in my second year of my resp therapy associates degree, and will graduate in dec 2012. cant wait if we become pregnant again i will have to take it easy and not work so many hours and clinicals with classes on top of it congrats and good luck.
Thank you! :)
@OlderMom38...it is never too late to go back. While I was the oldest to graduate in my class, there were several older students that graduated in the class ahead of mine (including a woman who was close to 50). I turned 41 in December :) I also plan to continue my education. Next year I will enter an LPN to BSN program (have to work at least a year as an LPN to apply) and then I plan to go on to get my MSN and be a Nurse Practioner/Nurse Midwife. My ideal future job would be working in a rural clinic helping families from pre-conception to very old age.
You should consider going back to school...it is never too late! :)
Congratulations!! That's awesome! I started my nursing degree back in '93 and after completing almost all of my pre-req's, I gave up. My ex-husband was a Marine and moved me so much I finally got frustrated and quit. Never went back. I wish you the very best with your career and your baby.
Congratulation on your awesome news!!! I am happy your stress level is now down, and it all turned out to be good news for you:-) I am 18 weeks and I am now feeling my baby move as well. The most wonderful feeling in the world:-)
Take care
Yolanda
Congratulations! Good for you!! I can relate to the stress of waiting for results, enjoy your pregnancy!
