I used the summers eve wash when I was about 6 weeks bc of the smell and BIG REGRET!  It threw off my ph balance and had a worse smell afterwards. Just let nature run its course dear. I'm 32w Sunday and the smell is gone now. It will get better.

I was definitely referring to just the vaginal wash. I use that once a week & it helps. But I've never and don't ever plan to use a douche.

Any ob/gyn will tell you that summers eve will wipe out even the good bacteria that protects you. It is extreemly drying and can cause more harm than good. And that it the douche not the feminine soap. If you use the vaginal soap externaly, that is fine, but douche is NEVER ok, especially when pregnant. Like monique2032 said, flush from drinking lots of water and eating yogart with probiotics.

Absolutely NO Summer's Eve! Let nature take it's course. We've all been there I'm sure. I normally flush myself by drinking LOTS of water & eating plain yogurt.

Big no-no... dont use summers eve... ever! Not even when ur not pregnant! Ur discharge when pregnant is stronger and "different". It may have a strong smell even if ther is no infection or anyother reason. I am 35 weeks and it has increased in ammount and smell. I take 2 showeres a day bc of the smell. But it is normal, not the greatest "side effect" of pregnancy but normal. I have checked with my ob multiple times bc it seemed so strange and so strong.

Tmi but I've tried for both of my pregnancies and when I do it does smell the day after sex from the sperm being in there. Usually goes away if we don't have sex for a day or two. Try using summers eve.
