Storing Breastmilk

When you store Breastmilk do you have to freeze it or can you refrigerate it ? , or maybe both ?.

Just remember if you freeze it when warming it up do not shake the bottle it breaks down the fat baby needs to grow. Instead stir the milk. When it cools you will usually see it separate that's why you need to stir to mix it back up again.

Fridge is good for 4 days regular freezer 3-4 month and deep freezer 6-12 that's what the lactation consultant told me

In the fridge it can last anywhere from 4-6 days but if you freeze it, it's good 6-12 months

Both but of course frezzing it last way longer

U can do either its good in the fridge I believe about 4days the freezer up to several months deep freeze a full yr in the storage bags I got lanoish there was a chart that listed the storage methods and duration

In the fridge I think it's only good 3 days frozen it's good for months I remember looking it up on Google when I was pumping for my first!
