I want to have another child

I had a partial hysterecomy at 23 yrs old it couldn't be prevented and now im finding myself wanting to have another child at 36 yrs old now. My question is... I was told I still ovulate but don't have a Uterus to carry a child. I was also told that I still produce eggs which means I still can have children I just can't carry them.. Is this correct? If so what would the procedure be to have a child? Can someone please answer me because I've been thinking about this for a few years now and I want to know if it's possible.

Thank You Very Much for any and all replies.

Heather5's right - the way to go about this is to go through IVF using your eggs and your husband's sperm and then transfer the embryos into a surrogate (gestational carrier).

Well, I'm certainly no doctor, and I have to admit, I'm really not sure about this...but I would think you'd have to use a surrogate if you don't have a uterus. They should still be able to stimulate your ovaries, like they do for IVF, retrieve the eggs and fertilize them with your husband's sperm. Then transfer the eggs to a surrogate.

Best of luck to you!
