HOW MANY USE OVULATION CALENDARS...

I've just registered on (fertiltyfriend.com) to try the ovulation calendar and am wondering has anyone had success on this site from it. I'm trying to track...or I should say narrow down what my exact ov-day is. Any & all info is welcome.

Cheers~

I actually chart on Fertility friend and use a fertility monitor as well.  I find it useful to track and trend my cervical mucous and have each month to compare to.  I've been pregnant 3 times (twice, since using Fertility friend), but m/c all 3.  I think it's all useful.

Also, just a note, if anyone has sperm issues, I've found it still works best to wait for the positive on the monitor to start and then go full out until you believe you're done ovulating.  We were BDing well before we got a +  on the monitor and never got preggers that way.  if you have issues with a low count, it's sometimes best to wait for the Peak...

Thank you so very much for all your inputs.

I'm usually 25-27 dayer...sometimes 28, but the most common is 26 so that is what I work with. I've kept calendars, temps & used opk's, but fert-friend seemed like it was a one stop shop spot. (try to say that one time....med speed gurls) ;o) I've also gone to other sites and used their calendars to see how close which ones are, etc.

QUESTION: Does anyone else experience full...tender boobies around ovulation? See, the question is not if I am ovulating, but what is the "D" Day. ;o) If you have the above symptoms, which day is best...before full tender...right @ full tender or after to wrap all your legs & body around dh? ;o) :-D

agamommy: go lady...on #4...you are full! Hope your 4th comes soon. ;o)

TN: My Gurrrrrl...How you doing chicky? I pray all is well wit you & the lil' woman. ;o) You know I fell all on & across the floor trying to catch ALL that "we over 40 & still working it out Baby~dust" you sent right? Thanks babes... ...1st cycle day was 4/17...I'm on CD14 and BD'd all over this place 3 days straight! It was on cd11,12 & 13. Needless to say a chick is worn out!! Mom-ma needs some "wait a couple months honey, I've got to go into repair mode". ;o) I read on different sites that my actual "ov-day" was anywhere fr.  4/28-4/30...I also think one said 5/01/08. So...tell me what your  wheel estimates. Thanks sweeite. Hope you are still feeling good. ~:o (this is baby)   ~:o)~~ (that's baby after having a good time w/mommy nursing...you know how they look after they are all full...start playing & act like that milk came fr. a package?)  XD (me laughing so hard...eyes crossed...mouth open)

adgal: Thanks babes...I've been using the opk's for a while and just learned some new info about them. I'm going to post at the end of this thread...also going to send you a personal. ;o)

Angel: Take a look @ info I found about opk's. I hope it's a help. Hope all is well wit ya...send me a note/email to catch me up.  })i({  (butterfly...cool or what?)

stephie4: Congrats lady and thanks for the info. Already brought the expensive ones.  *0* \%/ (my look after my drink)

teaqueen71: Thanks sweetie. Also...mucho baby dust to you & hopefully you won't fall all over the floor...run into the wall like I did trying to catch the "bd" sent to me by my gurl TN. XD (me laughing so hard...eyes crossed...mouth open)

Sahuaro87: Sorry no BFP YET!, but it is definitely coming girlfriend. ;o) Use the opk's, take temp, shoe string...you know? They have us all strung out using all kinds of stuff. ;o) Gonna be using the rain falling outta the sky in a minute. Oooooowe...I really need an emoticon here that is screaming laughing cause I done cracked my own head on the computer desk from laughing soooo hard. Bunches of baby dust to you lady. ~;o ~:o There you go...girl & a boy for ya. Watch out...just might be that serious baby dust for ya.

Cheers Ladies~
Savanha~~

btw...info I promised: Nothing is hard & fast...just sharing some more info for us to ponder. ;o) Lucky us. ;o)

In a recent analysis of 119,398 charts from women charting with Fertility Friend, we found that 94% of women who became pregnant had intercourse on at least one of these three days. For conception purposes, it is thus ideal to have intercourse during a three day fertile window which includes your ovulation day and the two previous days.

Additionally, because the most fertile time begins at least a couple of days before ovulation, couples using devices such as OPKs (ovulation prediction kits) or fertility monitors should begin to have intercourse prior to observing a positive or a peak so as not to miss an opportunity to conceive (since these devices typically only indicate a peak or positive on the day prior to ovulation).

I was using the ovulation calendar on whenmybaby.com for the past 4 months. I had  a visit with my GYN yesterday  because I was two days late and got excited but it was quickly deflated with a BFN. Anyhew he recommends the over the counter Ovulation Kits and not go by the calendar. Now I’m in search of the best for the buy for an over the counter ovulation kit.

have you tried taking your temp. every morning? I have a medical wheel that will tell you the ovulation date. or you can go to the pregnancy site and put in first day of period and it will tell you that date also.
If you want... email me your first day period... and I will let you know the O date...
I wish you the best!! I cant wait till you get pregnant...I will keep my fingers crossed for you..baby dust>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>catch it.

I have signed up on a site for Ovulation Calender... it is just a trail..it didn't cost anything.... I have a 28 cycle... and thought Ovulation would be easy to track.. so I thought I would see what my most fertile days where.... My last pregnancy..I counted exactly 14 days from the day  AF came for a visit... BD that night... found out I was pregnant 14 days later..... I was shocked that it didn't take long at all.....

DH are ttc our last child....#4 and this one might be a little more complicated..due to DH is out of  state right now working..... we did some BD before he left and according to the Ovulation Calender.... I was fertile... he was gone by the 14 day after AF... that would have been my most fertile day :(  Now I just wait and see....

I wish you lots of luck! and hope you get your BFP real soon!
