induced on Monday

Being induced on Monday if she doesn't make an appearance before ... feeling nervous can anyone help please just with advice in what to expect ... had sweep today the midwife said the head is very low pushing on cervix but the cervix is still not soft enough and pretty closed will this make a difference to being induced at all ?? Please help xx

Im getting induced monday as well this will be my second induction. I only got pitocin and that's it labored for 10 hrs no pain meds. That's was five years ago im so nervous.

I've been induced three times. It's not so bad. With my first I was already dilated to two so they had me come in at six am and hooked up an IV with fluids and pitocen. When I reached 5cm I got an epidural and it was all smooth sailing from there. With my last two it was pretty well the same process except i wasn't dilated at all so they had me come in the night before to get cervidil, something that softens the cervix. Then when I woke the next morning they removed it and we started the IV.
