Sorry I have bad news

Pum
Hi there,

I have been away overseas for a week but before I went I finally plucked up the courage to phone a midwife who sent me for a dating scan. Unfortunately there was only an "empty sac" and I should have been 7.5 weeks at least. I have had a very stressful and busy work trip and now have to present to a conference over the next two days so am hoping the inevitable miscarriage doesn't start until the weekend. I keep bursting into tears over the most minor things (agenda changes oooh) and was supposed to have another scan today but have chickened out(the midwife has once in her career seen this turn out for the best). I still have many symptoms (I was so airsick on the plane) but deep down I know it is failing.

I want to see how I get through this miscarriage before deciding what to do next. Hopefully it is less traumatic than last time, what with the shingles and all.

I hope everyone else is having a better time of it.

I'm so sorry your going thru this;(  & to be away from home is so hard.  I wish I had some advice to give you to help you feel better, but I don't.  I DO know what you are feeling, as I've been thru it 3x's.
You will feel better soon, it will take some time ;(  Meanwhile, please take it easy, & don't over do it.

xxxx's
