just confirming what everyone else is saying. Pregnancy symptoms can come and go, and the second trimester is known as the "golden period" because symptoms are usually minimal for most women. I am 20 weeks and aside from bad pelvic pain and a growing belly, have not had many pregnancy symptoms the last several weeks, but a recent ultrasound showed a very active and healthy baby. So try not to worry and enjoy feeling good.
I'm 25 weeks pregnant with my first, and I've had a relatively symptom-free pregnancy the whole time so far. Now my baby kicks and moves around regularly, so I know it's doing fine. But earlier on, I admit that I wondered as well. EVERYONE told me not to worry and to just be incredibly thankful that I was missing out on all those uncomfortable symptoms of pregnancy. So I'll pass that along to you as well - until you really have reason to worry, just try to ENJOY IT!!! :)
From about 16 weeks on until closer to the end of the 2nd trimester its normal to lose symptoms including morning sickness, fatigue, frequent urination, etc. Some, if not all symptoms may or may not make a comeback towards the end of the 2nd beginning of the 3rd trimester. I'll be 20 weeks friday (this is my 8th preg. but 6th that has made it past the 1st trimester) and I feel every bit of pregnant this time around, but that's becuase I've been preg so many times. Lower back ache, fetal movement, pressure, BH are all exacerbated but I remember with my first few pregnancies the beginning to middle of the 2nd trimester were my most comfortable and didn't hardly feel preg at all.
Yes, I think that is normal. Right around 17-18 weeks my headaches stopped, my nausea stopped and I wasn't as tired. They say you feel better after the 1st trimester, but I think it's closer to the first half. I'm getting so used to my tummy that I asked my hubby the other day if it had stopped growing. LOL.
