15 days late, negative HPT at 10 days, and now waiting to hear about BHcG results...

alright, this is getting ridiculous...maybe I can give some insight....was NEVER late before for a period...NEVER...only when I got pregnant with my son. Never late before, never late after. NOW 15 days late, and 5 days ago...Negative HPT. Supposed to have started ovulation 4 days ago if cycle was correct. No AF, no pregnancy? Went to doctor this morning and now waiting on results from BHcG test.  I hope I am!  Anyone else have any suggestions?  Thanks.

NEGATIVE......found out this morning and I am now...20 days late.....never before has this happened until I was pregnant for my son almost 16 years ago.  Oh well...disappointed, but will keep trying.  Thanks for the kind words!

The not knowing is the worst isn't it.  I hate the wait.  There are so many possibilities here. Yes, your HPT could have given a false negative, or perhaps it was too early for it to show in your urine.  Although typically most brands are pretty accurate once you have missed your period.  Even though you have never missed or been late before, our bodies do change as we get older and anything from stress to a hormonal imbalance can cause a late or missed period.  It's hard to say.  I wish you luck and look forward to hearing your results.  Please keep us posted.

Thanks for the encouragement...just talked to my doctors secretary and she called to lab to get results for me, and it isn't done yet...ARRRGGGHHH.  Now I have to spend the whole weekend wondering.  Good lord, give me strength!  Will keep you guys posted though.  ;)

I'm sorry I don't have any suggestions but I just wanted to wish you the best of luck.  Everything you are saying points to pregnancy.  Perhaps your hpt was a dud?  Sorry I'm not much help.  Keep me posted though.  My fingers and toes are crossed :)
