Wanting to be hopeful...

Good morning friends!  Ok, so I'm still 2 days away from expected AF.  Yesterday, after I peed, I wiped a small amount of pinkish/brown discharge.  I got bummed and assumed it was AF coming...but then I read alot of info about implantation bleeding, and thought...hmmm maybe that's what it was...because it did go away a couple hours later, and I haven't spotted since.  So, from what I've read, you should test after what you think may be implantation bleeding (they say 24hrs after you see the discharge then the HCG starts it's release into your body) Additionally, I could have experienced what is called Late Implantation.  Yesterday I bought a First Response and took it 20 minutes ago, and it's NEG.  So here's the deal...I'm waiting for AF before I test again...My body is really playing mind games with me...STOP THAT body and mind!!   I know a few of you dolls will reply and say wait till your missed period, or you'll say the First Response is one of the best HPTs and would have detected HCG at 2 days before AF.....but, I welcome ALL your thoughts!   Pam

This is a very old post. Pamela isn't on much anymore.  Happily she got pregnant not long after this post and delivered a very healthy beautiful baby girl (at 45!).  We miss her though...Pamela, if you see this love....

Thank you both for your words of encouragement, as always it means so much!  Amanda, you read my mind about Preseed...I was going to purchase it for next months BD if AF showed up...so, yes I think that could help!!  Stay tuned...

Awww, you already predicted what I would have said...lol. So I will just continue to keep fingers and toes crossed for you.  I hope implantation bleeding is all it is and AF keeps her ugly face away.  And if not this month, then I hope next month is your time.  Have you ever tried preseed?  Someone else on here recommended it to me a few months back and I now swear by it.  On reading up on it one of the extra challenges us "older moms to be" have is with the cervical mucas, so the sperm doesn't live as long as it normally would, or its not as mobile or somthing like that.  Apparantly this product mimics it. Anyhew, just a thought.  If you are interested, the only place I have been able to find it is on line at www.preseed.com.  You know I am praying hard for you Pam!  Your time is coming!
