scared but hopeful

I am pregnant and had an ultrasound and there's a gestational sac and a yolk sac, but no fetal pole. The tech had me on tears she said she doesn't think the pregnancy will progress as it should while my obgyn is 50/50

Spotting is common at this early stage. I'm sure it will be ok.

Is there a reason they scanned you so early?

I had a sac and yolk at 6 weeks,no fetal pole and no heartbeat. Went for another scan (transvaginal) a week later, got a fetal pole and heartbeat. I'm 36 weeks now. Sometimes they're not visible till 8 or 9 weeks. I hope to works out for, stay positive.

According to lmp 6, but sac measured 5 wks 3 days. So the dates are off. I've read stories that fetal pole comes 7th and even not until the 8th week sometimes. The doctor said it's good there are two sacs and the gestational sac isn't irregular. I'll be crushed but know I may experience the worst
