when do I get to feel the baby more?

I am 20 weeks 4 days and just wondered when you ladies felt the baby kick? I was about 35lbs overweight and don't know if that has anything to do with it, but I thought by now I might feel a little more than the occasional flutter.

AWEEE it just makes me melt completely when i feel her!!! i wasn't exactly the skinniest girl in the world, so i don't know if that has something to do with it.. but i felt her starting to 'drag' her little hands and feet (tiny flutters only when i'd lay down and press my tummy) when i was about 15 weeks.... then it got stronger and stronger...
Now im almost 26weeks and feel her some days more active than others! sometimes she is kicking the cr.ap out of mommy, and her bladder and some others she's so still and quiet.... i love to feel her roll!!! in fact the other day a bump rose up from right next to my belly button and i just KNEW it was her little head!!! i caressed it and (yeah, im a horrible mom!) pocked it! lol.... and she was kicking in response! i love when a 'banana like' shape forms on the other side of my tummy, that's when i know she's laying sideways....(only when i lay down flat on my back does that happen)... I am SOOO in love with this little platain!!!! ;)
She rocks my days every day when she moves!!!! =))

I started feeling mine everyday at 19 weeks but it's different for everybody.  Now at 28 weeks, I really don't feel too many hard kicks as often as I feel her stretch and roll.  Sometimes the kicks are internal, aimed right for my bladder then I know she's facing a different direction.

I started out overweight as well, and things really started getting more active at 20 weeks.  The kicks were more prominent, but not all the time.  Give it another week to 2 weeks and you will feel better about your babys movements.  I noticed at around 20 weeks he would be real active for a couple of days, and then take a break for a couple of days.  He has kept this pattern even now, and it worries me to death.  All through the weekend and first of the week he was flipping, kicking, and moving regular.  Then on Wednesday I hardly felt him, and again yesterday.  I was really starting to get worried.  But, this morning he is flipping around again, and active.  I guess he just wears himself out, then takes a break and sleeps, haha. Also I think it depends on where they are, I can feel mine kick internally sometimes, and it doesn't make my belly move.  Speak with your doctor too, if you get really concerned.
