Want Another Baby @ 48

A little over a year ago I had my birth control removed. My doctor said at that time I was very fertile. My husband and I have been trying to conceive ever since then and nothing. I'm now 48 and he is 37. Is there anything "natural" that I can or should be doing to increase my chances?

Have you tried tracking your temperature? Google that. Also talking to a fertility dr is very helpful. You never know what it might be. My husband and i tried for a few years and then went to a fertility specialist. During the intake appointment she did an exam and decided to "throw in" an ultra sound since she was down there. She told me I would be fertile in four days and sure enouph we got pregnant. It turns out I ovulate super early in my cycle so our counting was all wrong. You never know....

Ive been on this board for about 8 months.  I havent seem many of here over 45 have a baby. Alot of women get pregnant at your age,  but almost all miscarry.   I think the chances of miscarriage for your age is around 90 %.  If you dont want to waste time,  you should find out about donor eggs.  Ive heard alot here have success with that.

Dont mean to be a downer,  just telling you how it is realistically.  Dont get me wrong,  theres still a chance.  But time is of the essense.  I wouldnt wait too long before seeing an RE.  Also get a full checkup and ultrasound to make sure all is fine.

Try the ovulation kit to see when you are the most fertile. It worked for me. After tracking your cycles you know your body a little better. You may even feel when it's the best time to try. Good luck! And talking to a fertility specialist won't hurt either if you are willing to try.

Best course of action is to see a fertility specialist and get on Clomid.
