vague obgyn

I'm 35 weeks and 5 days, I'm having some concerns that my doctor isn't telling me enough information. This is my first pregnancy and my first baby and I feel that I don't even know what questions to ask even though I do read these blogs.
I feel that she should be willing to tell me more information when we  meet.  At my appointments,  we probably only talk for  maybe 5 minutes and then she sends me home. I haven't had a ultrasound since February and I had to ask her how big she thought my baby was last week.  She said maybe around five pounds, that I already "knew" from reading my pregnancy tracker and pregnancy sites/apps.

What should I do and is this normal?

There are also books for first time moms that are very helpful to read.

Sometimes, Dr tend to get busy and forget that we are new to this when they see it every day. Write down your questions, and take it to your next appointment. Ask while they are examing you. Remind her this is your first pregnany. Don't be afread to speak up.

I wouldn't be concerned too much with the weight since most of the time their estimates are grossly off. Some drs don't divulge a lot because they think the less info you have the less you will worry. If you have concerns you should be able to ask though and get what you need out of each visit. My OB spends as much time as she needs to in the room. If I have only one question shell be in there for 5 minutes but if I have 20 shell stay until she answers them all.
