16w 5 days and haven't felt any movement yet :-(

Shouldn't I feel something by now?  When I read the pregnancy stuff on line it says around 16 weeks you start feeling "quickening".  When did you guys start to feel something?  I didn't feel anything with my daughter until around 18 weeks but I heard you feel things faster on the 2nd?

Didn't feel anything with my baby till she was about 20 - 22 weeks. Now she's a very healthy active 6 1/2 month old.
Don't worry.  You're perfectly within nomal range.

Don't worry!  it's my second and I'm just now feeling my little man move around and I am 22 weeks.  With my daughter I felt her move the day I turned 16 weeks.

I think it's totally different by person and by situation, and I was told by my OB that some women on their subsequent pregnancies can feel movement as early as 14 weeks and as late as 23-24 weeks.  My friend who is due in November started feeling her 2nd child around 21 weeks.  I am now 17 1/2 wks and started feeling my 2nd child last Friday.  So, it's completely different.  I felt my first child around 18 or 19 weeks.  It may also have something to do with positioning, how small you are, etc...  so many reasons I hear, and you shouldn't be worried, especially this early along.  I think my situation is the exception, not the rule.  Hang in there, and it'll come....  surely.  Then, they'll have the hiccups every day, keep you up at night, all the fun stuff!!

I remember feeling little movements around 16 weeks (I was on my honeymoon at the time). But nothing major and almost imperceptable. This was my third pregnancy. With my second, I don't remember feeling anything until about 20 weeks. Honestly, I wouldn't worry...it will all happen in due time!

Honestly, I wouldn't worry - w/Noah (my 7th pregnancy, 5th live birth), I didn't feel movement until the 18-19th week.  Most of what I felt I knew was gas (sorry if tmi).  Don't worry - do you have a doppler?  I'm sure everything's fine! - jen

16 is still very early. I'm 19 weeks today (but measuring close to 20 weeks), and haven't felt anything yet. But I do have an anterior placenta, which will probably "muffle" any movements until a little later when the baby gets a bit bigger. I agree with the others, though, no need to worry...

I don't remember for sure.. I think I felt little ticks/taps pretty early but to be honest it was hard to tell if it was really the baby or just gas :)

Don't worry.. it is still very early and they will come soon..

Shoot, I think my second was later than my first. Probablyl 18-19 weeks. This baby was 16, but it's my 3rd. Give it a good couple of weeks. The only reason I felt this baby at 16 weeks is because i was sitting sooo long by myself in a quiet room waiting for 45 minutes for my OB!
