ANOTHER SCAN ON WEDNESDAY

Hi ladies i have to go for another scan on Wednesday and im dreading it. I just cany figure whats going on. My first day of my period was on 21st Dec so counting from that i should be 6 weeks friday just gone. I went to hospital the other day with slight bleeding but everything seems ok as my cervix was closed and bleeding stopped. The first Hcg level was 1246 then it doubled to 2176. But on friday when they scanned me they said they could not detect a pregnany. So with my HCG levels rising things must be ok right and whats really worrying me i must be about 4 weeks pregnant instead of 6 and thats why they could not detect pregnancy on scan. This wednesday when i have my scan it will only be 5 days since i had my first one. Im thinking its still really early for a second scan if im only about 4 weeks pregnant. Im thinking i must have conceived late and then it takes 7-10 days to implant so it makes sense im early in my pregnany. Im sorry for venting but i just need to understand this better do you think they might see something on the scan on wednesday with my HCG levels doubling or could it still be too early for them to see anything. THANKYOU XXXX

Hi I have a scan on Wed too. this will be my fourth...they saw nothing on my first three...my last HCg ws Jan 30 1400 and my last scan was Jan 28. I too am worried sick but very hopeful. I know what you mean, I am eagerly anticipating Wed but am afraid as well...my LPM was Dec 13 so I am right there with you! I pray all is well with both of us...just hang in there and think positive thoughts...that is all we can do...Good luck and keep me posted!!!

I have always been told that they normally don't see anything on a scan until your levels are like 7000 - 10000. So if they don't see anything and your levels are still going up then  I wouldn't sorry so much until a little while later and they do another scan. I think your numbers are going up great and I would try not to stress it that much until the scan. There is a possibility that you aren't as far as you think and that could be why they aren't seeing anything yet! Try not to worry!! My thoughts are with you!
