Are digital OPK's and monitors more accurate?

Hi
I was wondering if anyone had differing results on different types of OPK's.  Last cycle I used the usual pee-on-a-stick and look for the lines yourself.  I had a positive result for over 6 days (I triple checked I was reading them correctly).  This cycle I tried a pee-on-a-stick, but attached to a digital reader, this time only one day read as positive (smiley face).  Are the digital ones more accurate?  My cycle is a bit up and down after losing my boy in Sep 09, so this could be affecting some of my readings.  I also wondering whether I should invest in the digital ovulation monitor or not?  If anyone has been using one could you let me know what you think.  Thanks.

I didn't use the monitors, but I did use the digital OPK's and they are absolutely my preference.  You either get a "smiley face" or a blank face.  I hated having to interpret which line was darker.  For me, the extra money was worth it.

I prefer using digital monitors to regular pee-sticks. I was using the digital ClearBlue (with low, medium, high) and it was great for my varying cycles (25-35 days), always accurate. I also noticed that the digital one gave my ovulation date 1 day earlier than a  regular pack of pee-sticks (yeah I did some comparisions!).

I found the digital and saliva OPKs much more accurate than the pee on a stick kind.  I broke down and invested in an expensive digital OPK and got pregnant the next month.  May have just been a coincidence, but I'll take it.  I also figure that I can use the digital OPK at a birth control method after the baby is born, which helped me justify the cost.

Good luck and tons of baby dust to you!
