Black Cohosh

Hello ladies. I have heard from alot of you that Black Cohosh(I think thats how you say it) is supposed to help with conceiving. I was looking at it in the store today and it said for woman going through menopause. How can this help with fertility if it is for Menopause? I may have asked this before but I can't remember. Thanks for any feedback.

This herb is used for several things.  It is used to help reduce the symptoms of menopause, but is also a "uterine conditioner" in a sense, prior to becoming pregnant, which helps promote a healthy uterus to sustain a healthy pregnancy.  That said, it should not be used while you are pregnant because it can also induce labor.  Confusing...but important to use at appropriate times before and during pregnancy.
If you google it, you will get more info...Red Rasberry tea is also very similar to this herb...drinking while TTC provides the same benefit.
