Is the cramping gone? i was thinking about you?
Apparently cramping is not uncommon and can represent the stretching of the uterus and the growth of the baby. I have cramping on & off, but no bleeding and it's on the side where the baby is. I tend to get nightmares that wake me up if I'm sleeping on my right side or on my back. It's as though the baby (ie, my body) is screaming: SLEEP ON YOU LEFT SIDE! As soon as I turn over, I have better dreams. And, FYI, I've had the same kind of good dream and you probably cramped just like having an orgasm while awake so that's probably where it came from.
Hoping...
Did they finally go away? I'm 15w4d today and (be prepared for TMI) after an orgasm dream that woke me, I started cramping (they're also intense but not painful) and my back hurting...it's gone on all night.
I took a shower this morning to see if that would help relax everything and it didn't. I know that there is no point in calling the doc as she already told me to not worry about cramps, only bleeding. But I can't help but get nervous, since I've been pretty much cramp free for a few weeks now!
I am pretty sure that I drink enough water throughout the day, but am wondering if something 'happened' during that dream??!??!?
Nurse just told me to drink more fluids and call back if I have any bleeding.
Yeah, sounds pretty normal to me. I actually went to L&D around 14wks, b/c I was having this issue. They told me it was lack of water and constipation (I'm 18+ wks now). Well, whenever I'm constipated, I get these intense cramps; when I don't pee, I get these intense cramps; when I don't drink enough water... I think you'll be ok. Just follow it, and if you really feel worried, you could always go to L&D, or the equivalent. Good luck!
My husband asked the same thing......LOL. I Poo's just yesterday before it the cramping had started. He has pushed me to cal lthe Dr and now I'm just waiting for a call back. I will try the Gatorade.
Thank You
I hate to ask a personal question, but when was the last time you poo'd? If not for a few days, maybe it could be that!
I'd call the doctor, anyway...we're paying them and that's their job!
Try to get some rest, drink plenty of fluids (gatorade is a great re-hydrater) and take it easy!
Keep us posted!
