HCG level on CD 24??

Has anyone had HCG level tested before missing period?  My af isn't due till next monday (8/4) and I had the test today.- the number was 35.  The nurse said that it's too early to say whether it's too low or not.  She wants me to come in again get another test to see if it's rising.  I understand but I forgot to ask her if 35 for CD24 is right number.  Any idea anybody???  My progestetone was 24 which is good...

It was't too early. Remember blood test are the most sensitive and they are able to pick up the HCG hormone before it shows up in your urine, I think this early your should only be concerned with your HCG levels continuing to rise, not so much if the comparsion of the two is good just yet. I'm sure your pregnant. I had my blood draw 2-3 days before my period.

CD 21 I had HCG of 70, and my OB said that was just fine.  Anything over 5 is considered pregnant, so congrats to you!  The actual HCG number is not whats important, its that it continues to rise (double every 48 hours or so.)  Congrats to you again, and I wish you a healthy pregnancy!

I took three more hpt after the first blood test and they were all getting darker.  I guess that's a good sign for now.  I am going back to hospital tomorrow to see if the number is rising.  Wish me luck!  I will keep you posted.

I've got my second hcg number today and it's 621.  I am glad that it's rising.  They asked me to come in on thursday for another blood test (just to make sure) and early ultrasound in two weeks.  I can't wait!!  Thank you for being supportive and positive energy...

Thats great news!!! More than doubling is fantastic.  I am glad to hear things are going well.  Good luck with thursdays bloodwork, I am keeping my fingers crossed for a perfect 1242!  Let us know how things go, and heres wishing you a happy, healthy (and uneventful) pregnancy!

The third test result was 1581.  My nurse said that it's rising nicely and wanted to see me next friday to see if it's implanted in the right place or it's blighted ovum...  I was so happy when I heard the number
