My amnio results are good! Its a boy, and I already have three girls. It all seems too good to be true. Looking forward to the rest of the pregnancy. Going through one hoop at a time. Wonder whats next. Can anyone whose had a miscarriage eyc after 17 weeks share their story. Might teach me something

ah yes but with that just one pill, you still have to pass the baby and you can hemmorage so it sounds easy but its still not really... anyway I'm sure your children will be a great help to you, it will be good practise for them lol, I have older children and sometimes I have to fight to get a cuddle with my youngest. I dont think babies are hard work, I think the hard work starts when they get to school and into their teenage years :), babies dont need much, just your love, you dont have to go out and buy heaps of things, I can understand your feelings of maybe some loss of freedom, but the time will fly by and you can really cherish this pregnancy as you probably wont get the chance to enjoy a pregnancy or new baby again :)

Comes down to a few things.  My children are 18, 13, 11, and 7.   I just got mummify back together and some freedom.  I do worry about my energy for the family I have now.  A baby is so much work. Plus I am single.  The father has no children and he would be an excellent father but he works sixty hours a week. So I know it's all in me.  On the other hand I do feel fate is there and that it is a miracle.  I hate the idea of abortion but now they actually just give you a pill up til nine weeks.  I guess it's just doing it all over again

I'm 47 and 6 weeks pregnant and scared, mainly that my body won't be up to it and I'll lose my health. But also that I won't have the patience and optimism I had in my 20's. I was just getting life sorted out too...but it's such a privelege to be pregnant I can't help feeling selected for a very special honour too, and underneath the shock and fear of dying I'm really chuffed too! What are you afraid of?

I'm 45 and 13 weeks pregnant. At 6 weeks, I thought Id miscarried and was sad but relieved. I have 3 kids and we are just starting a major home renovation! So financially and lifestyle wise its the worst possible time. However, I'm taking one day at a time. Today is my CVS test that I'm dreading having had an amniosynthesis at 39 with my third child. We will see how we go. My advice to you, take it slow, get all your checks done, have positive people around you.
