I'm 41 and 10 wks with my 4th had the exact same symptoms...thought my period was going to start any day. And my test almost immediately showed positive. Seems like I was sick right away (I'm still fighting that, hopefully that will start to go away....I'm getting too old for this!). :0)
Congratulations! Think positive thoughts...everything will be fine!!

As monique said preg symptoms r different for each pregnancy and for different people. I never had symptoms till 14 weeks anf did not have any prenatal care coz i did not know and have a healthy lil boy. Relax and enjoy each day you carry your bundle of joy.
Am 43 too and had my baby in may - we are together in this -)
Congratulations! As hard as it is, try not to worry and think that you are having a beautiful, healthy baby! Your symptoms indicate pregnancy. Every woman feels different but what you described is not out of ordinary. Seems like you're pregnant!! Yay! So happy for you.
I'm 22 wks with my first (baby boy). I'm 37 yrs old.
Cheers to all MATURE moms! :))
Y'all are awesome! Thank you. I am officially a "Senior Mom". Love that!
Wonderful news to us senior moms. Welcome to the club.
My doctor told me that the more pregnancy symptoms (nausea, dizziness, fatigue) you have in the beginning, the more likely your baby is healthy. Congratulations on your good news!
Congratulations... And I'm on baby number five and every single one it felt like I was going to start my period any minute... But NEVER did. I agree with the others that the darker and more pregnancy symptoms the ETTER. :) best of luck :) keep us updated..
A dark line is good it means your hormones are strong. Nausia is also good it means the hormones are increasing. Light cramping is normal as your body is making room for baby. Congrats!
Congratulations. I am 42 and currently 21 weeks pregnant with my second baby (first at 39). With both my pregnancies I had cramping throughout most of the first trimester (felt like mild AF cramps). It is completely normal - it is your uterus expanding to make room for the baby. Nausea is also a good sign. Good luck! I know it is hard not to worry in those first few months. Wishing you a happy and healthy 9 months.
