Progesterone supplements cause food cravings?

Hi, I just had back to back IUIs 10 days ago after a cycle of HCG injectables. I released 5 follicles and sperm counts were awesome 50M each time.  Here is my question...I am feeling nauseated slightly and also having food cravings. Tonight after eating a plate of food, I still was hungry. Are cravings a sign on early pregnancy or just another side effect of the progesterone suppositories I am taking nightly? Aside from this...feeling fine.

Oh yes, it can cause food cravings.  I had my IUI last Thursday and I'm on my 5th day of progesterone today.  Day 2 I wanted to eat everything in sight.  It's toned down a bit since then.

It's too early to get pregnancy symptoms, so this is definitely a side effect of the progesterone.

When we are pregnant our progesterone increases, and that is the major cause of pregnancy symptoms.  So yes, I would imagine it can cause cravings.  It made my breasts sore for sure as I used to start it during my 2WW.
