If you want a biological child, you can do IVF. It is not as successful at 42, but if it really important to you, it is an option.
There are other options too. There is such a thing as donor embryos, embryo adoption. These are left offer embryos from families finished growing their families, but that still want their totcicles to have a chance at life.
There is also donor eggs. Then it is biologically you husbands, and you get to carry the child
Well my friend had her tubes tied then thry wanted one more. Shed said she had 4 snd would adopt one at 35 . Well it was much quicker easier and ins covered her doing invitro having another biological child. Best of luck
