But see that's what I'm scared of. Cause I have one child already but I didn't feel anything with him. I mean absolutely nothing. I went to the hospital cuz I was having trouble breathing n they told me I was 6 centimeters and asked did I feel any pain. I actually slept thru my whole labor no epidural or nothing so I'm scared I might not know when this one is coming

You will know, as the previous person said the contractions are like bad period pains as soon as you feel them start timing them, and just breath through them.

In my experience I'd have to say you'll know when you're in labor, but I understand everyone is different. Contractions for me started like bad menstrual cramps with pain also in my back. They became extremely intense & eventually pain started down my thighs making it hard to walk & even breath through.
It wouldn't hurt to time anything you feel cause things can progress real quick.

Contractions aren't always painful until your water breaks. If you are feeling your uterus tighten and then relax at regular intervals, time them. Of they are 5 man apart and don't change when you change positions or drink water, it could be labor.
