miscarriage 4 mnths ago/now sharp pains before periods

I had a miscarriage 4 months ago and a D&E.  I have been having sharp pains every month a week before my period starts.  Its not a really bad pain, just sharp pains here and there beginning a week before my period.  Im hoping this doesn't keep me from getting pregnant.  My honey and I are still trying.  Anyone?

Thank you.  I did speak with my obgyn about this.  She said its normal the first couple of months to feel this sharp pain, but im now feeling it every month.  I am worried that this is going to keep me from getting pregnant.  Thanks for your input.  I will call them again and schedule.

I have had 2 D&C's and didn't experience any sharp pains prior to AF.  I am not certain what to tell you...I would probably talk to your Dr.  and rule out any possible infection or leftover tissue.  I doubt that is the cause, it's just really the only thing I can think of.  Good luck!
