negative pregnancy test

i had my coil removed on the 19th of october 2011 and have had intercourse a few times i thought i was dew a period the 2nd of novmber which is 14 days after coil out all that happened on the 2nd of nov was a tiny bit of pink spotting which lasted a day and have had nothing since was just wondering after doin 4 tests which have come back negative if i could be pregnant or if that slight spottin was a peroid after having my coil in for 10 years very confussed many thanks

thanks for your response ive just had a proper period so at least i no where iam and can check ovulation now so hopeully i will be pregnant soon i think im been a bit eager its been so long since i tried to have a baby my eldest is 18 and youngest 12 i just want to get on with it now thanks again

I've never used the coil as a method of birth control personally, but I do know that when you take it out, or stop using the pill or other methods of bc, it is pretty normal to have unusual cycles for a bit.  Your body is adjusting hormonally.  If you think you might be pregnant, wait another week, then try another home pregnancy test using first morning urine.  You can also see your Dr. for bloodwork.
