postnatel depression

I already had my baby 13 weeks ago but i like postimg on this as i did when i was pg because the ladies on here have good advise and i dont feel judged.. i think i may be suffering with pnd..well thats what a freind said.. o do feel low all the time and depressed and feel anxios. But because i was depresed before i dont see any difference and i think im over reacting.. i never felt like i could hurt my baby or anything.. ive had a hard time lately.. i found out my bf cheated last year twice and other family stuff.. i do want to go back to my happy bubbly self but im not good at talkimg out loud about how i feel all i say is im good...my bf works from 6 am to 6 pm so its just me and my baby all day.. im afraid to go to docs because im afraid theyll take my baby away.. i also come from a family backround of mental illneses.. has anyone been through this or has any advise or know what will happen if i go to the docs? T.i.a x

Please don't be afraid to ask for help. Your OB office can help you. Post partum depression is very common and treatable. As said above, you baby will not be taken away because you ask for help!

If your breastfeeding it may be the hormones from breastfeeding that are messing with you

They won't take your baby away for asking for help. They will evaluate you and see if maybe you could benefit from medication or help you come up with a plan for extra support at home with the baby. The reasons you are depression sound completely legitimate to me, not that that really matters, but just so you know. It's good that you are recognizing this about yourself but now you need to talk with your doctor and have a true assessment done. It will make you feel better to work on getting your mood better.
