Supermama, so much differences between hodpitals and countries (I'm in the Netherlands). I asked about the embryo quality but they told me they weren't allowed to use that scale anymore (never knew with my first pregnancy but conceived with first frozen transfer so didn't know all the ins and outs if IVF). They just said one was 7 cells and one was 8 cells. Both had no fragmentation and were perfectly on track for their age.
Never had any bloodtest either for any hormones. Pregnancy was confirmed with HPT 14 days post transfer. So that makes first ultasound very exciting...

We did IVF/ICICI as well. We had four frozen and 2 put back in.  We are now pregnant with two baby girls. We are 26 weeks and 3 days. I had slight cramping in the beginning but once I hit 8 weeks I had horrible morning sickness that lasted probably until 13-15 weeks. Good luck to you!

My son was an IVF baby - 3 years ago when I was 35. This baby is an all natural "surprise"!

I never had any pregnancy symptoms with my son - other than no more periods and massive weight gain of course. :)

I am also 5 wks 3 days pregnant from a frozen embryo transfer.  We transferred two embryos.  We have our first ultrasound next Friday. This is our first pregnancy that had made it this far.  The first IVF was only positive for a few days before levels dropped. A little worried that my progesterone levels are low, 8.9, but nurse said everything was fine.  My hcg level is great at 7391.

I'm pregnant for the first time after our first IVF/ICSI treatment.  We only got 3 eggs out of the retrieval, all needed ICSI to fertilize, and only 2 turned into good 5 day blasts.  We transferred one and have one frozen.  (This came after 6 or seven medicated IUI cycles.) I'll be 33 weeks on Sunday!

I had almost none of the tell-tale pregnancy symptoms:  no morning sickness, no breast changes until well after 1st trimester.  For the first trimester I was just tired and bloated.  My OB says that as many as 1 in 5 women don't get morning sickness and it does not mean anything bad for the baby, though there are TONS of websites that will say that a "good, strong pregnancy" will have morning sickness.  Not always true!

I went for the maternit21+ testing at around 13 weeks and it came back negative for chromosomal abnormalities.  All subsequent tests and ultrasounds have been good.  Hopefully my luck continues through the home stretch!

Best wishes for a happy and healthy pregnancy!

How long did it take to start having pregnancy symptoms other then what the meds have been giving you. I had very sensitive breast and nipples when on gona-f,  after trigger shot not so much.

I'm currently 5 weeks 1 day pregnant with our second child after IVF/ICSI. Having my first ultrasound May 1st. Can't wait to see that little heart beating or maybe even two (two embryos transferred). Our first one was also conceived with IVF/ICSI. Had a great pregnancy. Though this time around nausea and throwing up is starting really early!
