spotting after taking medicine?

I went to the dentist told them I was pregnant and they gave me a prescription for clindamycin for infection.. 2 days after I started taking it. I stared slightly bleeding and well I'm. Around 7 weeks pregnant and I've never had any spotting at all not even after my exams? I of course stopped the medicine yesterday but today I'm still spotting!!
Anyone else had this happen? Is this normal when taking this medicine?

I looked up side effects online for this antibiotic and you were right to stop taking it
Definitely talk to your doctor
It clearly says discontinue use if you experience any bleeding

If you were given an antibiotic for an infection you should take the entire course of medication exactly as directed. Otherwise your infection is likely to return even worse than the first time around. Take the medicine.
Antibiotics don't cause spotting or miscarriage. Your dentist, having been told of your pregnancy, would not prescribe a medication known to be harmful.
Light spotting is normal in early pregnancy. If you have heavy bleeding with painful cramping or if you are concerned about the amount of blood you should call your doctor or midwife and talk to them about what you should do.
