Have your doctor check for low potassium. It's really common in pregnancy and contributes to edema.

Elevating your feet really helps, but if you are working behind a desk your ankles are going to get swollen! Don't worry about it too much, just try and elevate them as much as possible at work and when you get home, lay on your couch or bed and prop your feet up as high as you can and you will notice how quick the swelling goes down. Or it's probably just normal ankle swelling.
