41 weeks and not dilated

I am 41 weeks pregnant and the doctor says in not dilated at all but I'm 50% effaced. When will they induce me ? I have been trying to do things to help get her process moving like sex and walking what else works ?

I know it sounds crazy but orgasms make the uterus contract. It does help...keep walking :)

The timeing for induction is something you would have to discuss with your doctor.  You're due date is a guidline, and is not really set in stone.  As far as things you can do...there is an accupressure point between your thumb and finger, in the webbing (close to the bone) that you can press...30-45 seconds at a time, do your left hand and then your right hand...that can help induce labor naturally.  Limit this to twice a day (am&pm).

Good luck!

I know it seems you've been pregnant forever lol...but rest assured, at most, they will probably only let you go to 42 Weeks before inducing. I know, I'm 38+5 days pregnant and feel like I've been pregnant for years...... Best of luck!
