IVF instructions following ET ~ are yours the same?

My instructions for the 12 days following transfer.

Bed rest two days following transfer on back with feet up.  No bending at the waste - no vacuuming, no sexual activity, strenuous exercise (raising heart rate), and lifting anything heavier than 15lbs.

Doxycycline (Breakfast & Dinner)

Medrol (Lunch)

Progesterone Suppositories (400mg) 2x/day

Prometrium 200mg @bedtime

Only pain relief Tylenol 3 (1st 3days) - Tylenol regular thereafter - No Aspirin or Ibuprofen products

My Acupuncturist told me bed rest for 5 days following transfer.  No Raw Foods and No Cold Foods/Drink - only eat warm things to keep your body warm and not stress your system

TIA!

I had two days (48 hours) of bedrest, started 1.5ml of progesterone shots two days after retrieval and then Estraderm patches every third day until my beta. No sexual activity until beta and if positive beta, no sexual activity until after week 13. No strenuous activity until beta.

My clinic just told me to take it easy.  I did not have any strict bedrest at all after the transfer.  In fact, most research shows no benefit to bedrest beyond the first hour.  I still got my bfp even though I did not stay in bed for days.  It's not like embryos can fall out.  Just take it easy and don't do any heavy lifting.

My meds look similar to what you are taking although I was taking some estrogen as well.

Good luck to you!

My schedule looks pretty close to yours except I have injectible Progesterone instead of suppository.

I found your restrictions to be more detailed than mine

Thanks for posting. I am just starting my first IVF round today with Follistim and low HSG starting tonite
