I'm so glad someone asked this question. I was just asking my husband what could be wrong bc I've never had to deal w migraines like this. This is mt forth pregnancy and I'm 37 and never dealt with these in past pregnancies. But I also have been getting blurred vision or spots like I've been staring at a bright light too long. I'm 17 weeks and don't know how much more of these I can deal with!
It's *****!my hair is undo as I type.because I need to pour water on it each time am in pains.sugat isn't good 4 me but I had to take a can of coke when i feel the pains.Tylenol was just by d way.but doctor said i can take d prescription @d back..had it with my 1st and here I am again with my 2nd.16weeks hibe!
Please go see your doctor I read in many places if you experience headache with blurry vision you should see your doctor. Better to be safe than sorry. Hope it stops
So I missed my neurology appointment because my son got very sick. My doctor didn't want me taking anything more than tylenol if I could stand it. I didn't get a migraine for a week and then last night one hit! I am 19 weeks now so I am hoping it passes.
For those of us who already suffer with migraines it is not at all uncommon for them to increase during pregnancy. My neuro completely agreed. I was so grateful for the Fioricet. You may want to mention it to them, its one that is safe during pregnancy and it truly helped (helps) me get through. Please keep us posted.
Mine have increased now so I emailed my doctor and they want me to see a neurologist. Hopefully, that will give me something to relieve this pain.
Oh yes, My doc actually gave me Fioricet, a migraine med that is safe to take while pregnant. I suffer from migraines while not pregnant but the intensity and duration has def gotten worse. It has been almost unbearable.
Yes, tylenol is useless. Thank you so much for your response. Mine also last while sleeping. I have even ordered blackout curtains cause the morning light is like a dagger to my eye. I haven't had any other pregnancy symptoms so I guess I shouldn't complain and just hope they pass as you say :)
Yes. And it didn't get any better until after 20 weeks. It happened in my 2nd and 5th baby. It was brutal and sometimes would last for 3 or 4 days even while sleeping. Tylenol didn't touch the pain. I'm sorry you're experiencing this but I can't help other than saying what you don't want to hear, it will get better.
