Hi Jen, I am so excited for you. I believe this is in the Lords hands. God has chosen you to bring forth a miracle. Just pray and God will give you peace about this. I am 48 and had my tubes tied and of course had the ablation too. I am not pregnant, (did not know that was possible except through a miracle). I keep dreaming that I am pregnant which is what lead me to this thread, I will pray for you as well.I pray blessings over you and that new baby. Blessing of peace, perfect health and perfect pregnancy.

Nothing is impossible with God!!!!

Hi Jen and welcome!  If I could make a suggestion...start this as a new post.  You have posted on the end of an old one and will probably get more responses if you start your own.

Pregnancy after ablation can indeed be worriesome.  I don't have a lot of advice to give you except that I am sure your Dr. will be monitoring you very very closely and will work with you. It has been done successfully at times and I hope the outcome is the same for you. I truly wish you well. Amanda

I just recently found out that I am pregnant after having the ablation done 7 years ago.  At that time my doctor informed me that I would not be able to have any more children and never gave it a second thought in the last 7 years.  I am just very concerned and worried due to the fact most of everything I have read is very sketchy and confusing.  I see the doctor on Wednesday and will have ultra sound.  Never thought this would happen considering I am 43 and sending my oldest off to college and youngest will go in a couple years!

So of course I am confused and scared!  Any support or info would help tremendously!

I don't pretend to know much about ablation, but everything I have heard says that pregnancy after ablation is not recommended.  I would work with your OB and follow his or her advice on this.  Take care, Amanda
