I had a tubal ligation seven years ago after an emergency C-section. I found out two days after Christmas that I was pregnant. I was a few weeks late, but I thought that I was stressed out from the holidays.   I am now 16 weeks and three days pregnant.

Let me start off by saying DEFINITELY new doc.... just waiting to see if I get a positive blood test result first.... He was my doc for my first 2 n i loved him.... no complaints he was incredible w me.... i recently found out he no longer does ob just gyn... which gets me to wonder y?.... But that's neither here nor there.... i think i'm probably try to find a high risk pregnancy doctor... Due to the fact that i have had my tubes tied... what do u think?

That makes no sense. Since most doctors order the blood test BECAUSE the urine test is negative. I would look into a new doctor!

Completely and totally understand and get EVERYTHING you're saying and going through.... Glad to finally find someone who i can totally relate to... My bf is incredible man... i am soo anal about things that i dont kno how he deals w me sometimes.... Especially this last week... I've been soooo moody and crabby..... I couldn't get my ob to order the blood test so i went to his PA who I know personally.... used to work w her at another dr.'s office... she know works at 2 offices.... where my ob is and where I normally see her for everything else... My ob refuses to send me for blood work cuz i have not had a positive urine test.... makes no sense....

:) Thank God my husband loves me so. Otherwise my OCD and other issues would drive him insane! At my appointment the ob kept talking in circles. She was confused about how the ultrasound could show a small sack, my uterus showed thickening, my pelvic exam, to her, felt like I was pregnant but my urine test was negative and the blood test was too low to be positive. The only thing she was sure of was that my fallopian tube was good and "maybe" was her most used word. I found out from a nurse at another ob office that where I went to, they rarely see any one under 10weeks pregnant. So now I'm less shocked by her lack of knowledge. I even explained to her my testing issues with my daughter and that confused her more.

i also had an u\s yesterday but tech said no sign of pregnancy... which i wasnt surprised cuz i would only be 5 weeks now.... so it would only be the size of an sesame seed.... praying to God n putting all my faith in him.... n God willing I will get a positive test result.....

On a side note been reading your posts n remind me alot like myself... especially your most recent post of admitting to having OCD.... lol... my kids, bf, family n friends tease me all the time that I have OCD....

I'm 7 1/2 weeks pregnant after a tubaligation 19 years ago. I had an ectopic about 15 years ago. I also have only one ovary. My hcg levels are still low but it is not in my fallopian tube. At 6 1/2 weeks the ultrasound showed a small sack. I've also had several miscarriages, all of which happened in the first 5 weeks. I'm still scared, hoping this one sticks....but yes, it can happen.
