Pregnant again. my son is only 3.5 months old

Congratulations! I think it's great having children so close together. It will be probably difficult on you but really wonderful for them. When I was born, my mother had 4 children under the age of 5 and she was fine with it! I've a number of friends and family members who are under 12 months apart....it's not hugely unusual here in Ireland! They're not called Irish twins for nothing :)

Well I am the opposite I have a 20 yr old then a 4 yr old and now due in Feb. Lol
If u r happy that is awesome. I would be a little afraid during the first year and maybe the terrible twos but it will be a bond between your kids. U must be fertile so unless you want lots of kids u will have to be careful after this one. Lol.
Congratulations super awesome I would have loved this in my life hut I am not so lucky.

Well, my husband and I are both 38. Ill be 39 before this one is born so someone will be getting fixed after this one haha. We did want two and wanted them close in age so this works out

My neighbor has two young boys that are Irish twins 4yrs old and 5. She's older lady too. 40 ish. Little boys were the best things ever. I moved and miss them so much. We had a tight knit small neighborhood.  All the whole neighborhood loves them. They helped her out alot already too.

I have twins.  It is ok, you will survive :-).
The good news is, 1 will walk a year before the other.  Lol!
Bad news?  You'll just get used to sleeping through the night again, and bam! You will be up for night feelings again.

Normally I would say that u should've waited so it doesn't become too difficult for u to take care of 2 kids or that two kids back to back well I wouldn't do it. But given that u n ur husband are older I think it's not that bad. Especially if you have only one child. Ur 38 so u don't have the luxury of just waiting n it sometimes becomes difficult to get pregnant at this age. I'm also 38 n was thinking of getting pregnant again soon after this pregnancy cuz of the age thing also. N I hope I get to give my husband a 2nd child. It's also not as difficult to get ready for 2 kids since we r older n establish financial/n career wise that we don't stress as much.
