has anyone had adhesions? Please help.

is it possible to get pregnant and maintain a pregnancy with one band of adhession in cervical canal?
My doctor told me that I have a band of adhession inside my uterine. He said it is not in my uterine cavity rather in my cervical canal and said he is going t o leave it there and that it doesnt pose any danger. As much as I like to believe him, I have difficulty understanding why he would leave it there when he could easily remove it. It is just hard for me to understant that I can maintain a healthy pregnancy with that band of adhession, considering that I had a miscarriage.
Has any of you gone through a healthy pregnancy with adhession? please help.
Thanks

hi, there are many women who have been through your situation. IF you check out ashermans.org , ashermans syndrome (adhesions that form in the uterus and or cervix due to trauma)...I had scar tissue removed from my cervix just last month. My case was mild. I hope this helps.

Hi, im 28 yrs old and pregnant. At my ultrasound today I was dated as 11 week 5 days. My unusually shaped gestational sac (looked like i have two sacs developing) is now attributed to a uterine adhesion. My doctor said the adhesion is large and the concern now is if the baby were to put an appendage (or itself) into the adhesion it could cause growth retardation and even fetal demise.

Does anyone have a history of uterine adhesions (scars)? Has anyone had a successful pregnancy despite the adhesion?

I have lots of scar tissue and adhesions in my pelvic area and it does not affect my pregnancy although it made getting pregnant on my own impossible.  My adhesions and scar tissue were removed during a laparascopic surgery but my dr told me that they will come back in several weeks.  I am not sure if the same holds true for your adhesions since they are probably not associated with scar tissue....

I wish I could be of more help.
