I am 32 weeks and still on medicine for morning sickness. I don't have to take it as often, but I still have to take it in the evening.
Mine was terrible. It stopped around 16 weeks. Only makes a come back if I'm stressed, hungry or eat something baby doesn't like.
I ate child portions every two hours, sipped warm milk, gave in to cravings, slept often. Gradually I picked up. No remedies or ginger etc worked for me, I merely desperately fumbled through.
Good luck. X
Mine lasted the whole first trimester but mine was also really bad, all day and night type thing and I still get sick in my third tri, but its calmer now and not so horrible.
By 14 weeks I was fine but it seems to be making a
Comeback at 28 weeks
Mine has got better by 17 weeks. Now i just get sick first thing in the morning and only little :)
I agree. For most women it goes away as they move into the second trimester. However, if it is bad enough that you aren't able to eat properly, please talk to your Dr. There are prescriptions he/she can give you that will help, and it's so important that you are getting the nutrition you need right now.
SOme of the tricks that worked well for me were constantly nibbling. Soda crackers, ginger candies, that sort of thing. I know eating is probably the last thing you want to do, but between nibbling and taking small meals several times a day, it can really help. When our tummies are empty, the nausea is usually much worse. Hope you feel better soon.
It should calm down by 12 weeks, but all women are different, and some suffer all the way through. I personally have had almost none this pregnancy, but am now suffering bouts of it and i'm 29 weeks. With my first it was gone by 12 weeks, and with my second the last time i was sick was at 15 weeks. So hopefully all is good to you and its gone by 12 weeks.
