15wks...Feeling Baby Already?

I am just shy of 15wks pregnant with my 3rd child and I swear I can feel the baby move already! It's not a twitch or flutter like some say, its more of a 'gust of wind' feeling in my stomach or sometimes it feels like a little baseball is in my belly, but just at one area. Is this really baby or something else? I've read that with each pregnancy you get bigger quicker (which I am) and b/c you muscles are stretched and your body has been through it all before you may feel the baby sooner, is that true? Any other mothers feel the baby this early?

I would say it's possible! Anything at 12-13 weeks is nearly impossible to feel (baby is too little and the uterus is still under the pubic bone). But because you've been pregnant before your uterus will get bigger a lot faster and you are familiar with what baby movements feel like! How cool! Write it in the baby book!

It is very very possible that your feeling your baby move. I started feeling mine at around 14 weeks and im on my 4th child. Also it is normal to feel baby move if he/she is your 3rd child and so on. Enjoy feeling your bub, because it is the greatest feeling in the world!

Last week (when I was 15 weeks) I swear I felt the baby moving.  This is my second pregnancy, but the first baby only made it to 8 weeks (I m/c'd at 13 tho), however, so I have no idea if it really was the baby or something else (gas or whatever ...tho when I've been gassy, it never felt like this!).  To me, it was more of a rolling sensation.

Also, even tho I've read it's not till a few weeks after the mother feels movement that other people can feel the baby moving, hubby and I both felt the baby move.  I had my hand low on my tummy and felt two pushes up onto my hand.  Hubby put his hand there and said he felt it roll across his hand.  Pretty neat!

So I think it depends not only on how many pregnancies you've had, but just you as well.  Some people feel it earlier than others!
