9 weeks Yeast infection

So maybe 3 weeks ago I got an abscess underneath my armpit. The had to slice it open and drain it. It's been 2 or so weeks that it's been draining and I found out it was staph infection so they put me on antibiotics. I've been taking the antibiotics for a few days and then one morning I had intense vaginal itching and my vagina was all swollen (I'm sorry for graphics!). I did some research and was 99% sure I had a yeast infection. I asked the doctor how to treat it and she said monistat was safe, (I didn't get tested for yeast though). Anyway she didn't specify on what to use and I picked up some monistat 3. This is my final night of it but I've just been stressing out if my baby is okay just because of the suppository that had to be inserted. Please help! I just really want to know if I made a good decision and if this stuff is safe. Thank you ladies!

take probiotics to replenish ur body with good bacteria u need it use monistat 7 and buy azo or my favorite the Walgreens generic brand of azo its to take ur discomfort away i used it before when i had a yeast infection but really buy probiotics ever sibce ive started using them i have no uti or yeast infectionsa and i got them constantly antibiotics dies that to you

Yep, I was told to use the 7 day treatment too. My doctor cleared me and all is well.

Yeah its safe...usually longer treatment is better so of it comes back use the seven day treatment

Monistat is okay! I wasn't directly diagnosed from my doctor, but I called in and told them I had all the symptoms of a yeast infection and they had told me that monistat wad fine. When I went in for my prenatal a couple weeks later, the doctor told me my baby is completely fine :)
