Blue dyes falses positives?

So I took two blue dye early response test,both very faint positive, one digital clearblue test (digital reader said not pregnant. darker, faint positive appears on stick anyway) My fiancee has seen the results and confirm that his ex gf had the same looking lines on her HPT which resulted in the birth of his now 6 yr old. I got my "period" three days early but yet unlike usual, i barely see anything and use one pantyliner a day, except when i urinate then it seems like i am on my last day rather than the start of my AF. Just an extremely light, slight less painful cycle all in all. Might i add, periods during pregnancy are known on my maternal side. Today, on day 2 of this so called period, i took a pink dye HPT which came up negative, i did not follow the 'guidelines' to taking it as i forgot to turn the display face opposite me and urinate 5 secs straight,and since the test said FMU isnt required i used the test around 7 pm; nonetheless it came up negative..were those blue dye possibly false positives? Please help, my fiancee and i are really TTC.

They could be, but like beanie said I'd go get a pink dye test and retest with FMU. You could get a pack of two and if the test is negative, waiting a few days and retesting.If this bleeding isn't like a normal period, then I very much doubt it's actually a period. Periods (a true one) are very rare in pregnancy. What many women experiance is vaginal bleeding and call it a period because that's what they assume any form of blood is. A proper cycle would require ovulation, and only in rare cases will this ever happen. Good luck, and I hope you get the answers you're looking for.

I used a blue dye test for myself 3 of them in fact all with faint positives i am now 14weeks and 2 days pregnant. If I were you I would get a pink dye test (to make you feel better) use the very first morning urine and follow all instructions precisely GOOD LUCK AND PRAYERS BE WITH YOU
